Kames became the first trout farm in the UK to join feed supplier Cargill’s SeaFurther™ Sustainability programme, to help farmers achieve carbon neutral fish. The programme follows a three-fold approach with the aim of at least 30% reduction in GHG emissions/kg of fish by 2030, in line with science-based targets Kames feed is fully traceable & sustainably sourced incorporating innovations with algae oil and insect meal.
